Saskatchewan’s winter weight season about to wrap up

Winter weight season on Saskatchewan secondary highways is soon coming to a close.

The province announced that winter weights will be removed at midnight on Wednesday, and spring road restrictions will begin soon.

Spring restrictions usually reduce allowable weights on RM roads and secondary highway by 10 to 15 percent and last about six weeks.

Truckers are advised to monitor their loads and watch for restrictions during this period.
