Yorkton man pleads guilty to Impaired Driving

Sentencing on Impaired Driving has been handed down to a Yorkton man, arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop near Melville.

On March 28th, Mounties noticed a man was unconscious in the driver’s seat of a vehicle parked on the side of Highway 10, just east of the city.

Police located one gram of fentanyl on the driver, and a search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a half an ounce of fentanyl, an ounce of crystal meth, as well as scales, baggies, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

30-year-old Lyle Pasiechnik received fines totalling 1950 dollars, as well as a one year driving ban.
