New Court Date set for Woman Charged in Connection with Death of Indian Head Mountie

One of two Winnipeg residents charged following the death of Indian Head RCMP Constable Shelby Patton, was back in court on Friday.

In June of 2021 in Wolseley, Patton stopped a truck that had reportedly been stolen from Manitoba, and while Patton was out of his vehicle, the truck ran him over.

44-year-old Marlene Pagee, who is charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder, remains in custody, and will make her next appearance in Regina on October 27th.

Her co-accused, 43-year-old Alphonse Traverse, has pled guilty to Manslaughter, and is scheduled to be sentenced on February 29th.
