Birch River man Accused of Second Degree Murder Appears in Court Again

A new court date has been set for a Birch River man, arrested in connection with a death in that community.

In October of last year, Swan River RCMP were called to a house fire in Birch River.

Once it was extinguished, the body of a 68-year-old man was found inside.

22-year-old Lincoln Chartrand-Flett is charged with Second Degree Murder, and he was remanded in custody to next June in Dauphin.
