A new court date has been set for a Melfort man, charged following a fatal shooting on the James Smith Cree First Nation.
RCMP say in September of 2021, three people were shot during an altercation at a home on the reserve.
A 37-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were killed, while a 44-year-old man was sent to hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
34-year-old Shawn Moostoos was in Melfort Court yesterday (Mon), where he was remanded in custody to January 15th.
