A new court date has been set for a Swan River man arrested in The Pas on numerous charges, including Assaulting a Peace Officer.

24-year-old Allan Knight remains in custody, and will back in The Pas February 5th.

In the late evening hours of November 22nd, RCMP received a report of a stolen truck in the town.

Thanks to a GPS unit inside the vehicle, police were able to track it down, and arrest the driver.

However, when the suspect was being placed in cells, he allegedly assaulted a Mountie.
