Sapotaweyak Cree Nation Man Sentenced for Stabbing Incident

Guilty pleas have been entered by a Sapotaweyak Cree Nation man, arrested in connection with a stabbing incident.

In February of 2022, Swan River RCMP received a report of a stabbing at a home on the reserve.

Three males had been stabbed, and another man was assaulted.

20-year-old Terrance Kematch was in Dauphin Court yesterday (Mon), where he was sentenced to time already served in custody, and 18 months of supervised probation.
