My Long Weekend in Minnesota.

What a weekend it was! My Victoria Day Long Weekend was spent in Minneapolis with my family for my youngest child’s hockey tournament, the Independent Classic Hockey Tournament. And let me tell you, it was a weekend filled with excitement, teamwork, and some impressive victories.

The tournament was no walk in the park, we saw teams from California, Minnesota, and a Tri State team from Missouri, Nebraska, & Iowa all competing. But despite the tough competition, my son and his team managed to come out on top, winning 3 games and only losing 1. It was amazing to see the hard work and dedication they put into each game pay off in such a big way.

As the tournament came to a close, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride and gratitude for the experiences hockey has brought into our lives. It’s not just a sport, but a way to build character, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime.

So as we wrap up another spring hockey season, I can’t help but reflect on the highs and lows, the victories and defeats, and the bonds that have been formed along the way. And I am grateful for every moment, every lesson learned, and every goal scored. Here’s to a successful Victoria Day Long Weekend.
