REGINA — SaskPower has received reports of emails claiming to be from SaskPower performing a security update and asking customers for banking details or credit card information.
SaskPower will never ask for personal information in this manner. Never click links or open attachments in suspicious emails.
Anyone who falls victim should call their bank or credit card issuer immediately, SaskPower advises. More information about how customers can protect themselves can be found at saskpower.com/scams.
