Manitoba’s Independent Investigation Unit is looking into an incident that occurred in the Roblin area.

On June 1st, RCMP were called to a family disturbance, and upon arriving at the scene, a 28-year-old man fled, and a foot chase ensued.

The suspect then got into a tractor and starting driving toward an officer.

The Mountie discharged his firearm into the air in an attempt to stop the suspect, but no one was injured.
