Two people have been arrested, following the discovery of a body in the R.M. of Moose Mountain.

On Wednesday, Carlyle RCMP were made aware of a potential homicide, that led to an investigation at the Oxbow landfill.

No remains were found there, but around noon today, the body of a woman, whose identity has yet to be confirmed, was found at a rural location in the R.M. of Moose Mountain.

Further investigation led to the arrest of 27-year-old Tyler Shaw, of Gainsborough, who will appear in Regina Provincial Court tomorrow, charged with Accessory after the Fact to Murder.

Another man was arrested in Oxbow this afternoon, pending further investigation.

There may an increased police presence in Oxbow, the R.M. of Moose Mountain and the White Bear First Nation, as the investigation continues.
