Hey there, I’m Danny Ismond.
I was raised in the beautiful community of Abernethy. Here’s a little background on my hometown that I am so proud of, it’s the home to Motherwell Homestead National Historic Site and where the Len Thompson fishing lures originated. I’ve been at GX94 for over 20 years following my passion for music. For roughly nine months of the year, you’ll find me at a hockey rink near you doing what I love, watching one of my boys. I look forward to hearing from you on the GX94 Morning Show.

I can't complain though, because this long weekend was exactly what I needed. Saturday was all about staying cool. We spent plenty of time around the pool...

Swimming Memories
This week's SaskToday.ca web poll got me thinking back to when I was a kid. The question is: Where did you learn to swim? For me, the answer was easy... the lake. Growing up, Katepwa Lake was only about a 10-minute drive from home, while the closest swimming pool was in Melville, about half an hour away. When summer ro...

How Old Is Old Anyway?
Tonya is always calling me old, and every time she does, I just laugh. Sure, I turned 45 last month, but I honestly don't think that's old. In fact, most days I don't feel old at all... until I make a noise getting off the couch! It got me thinking though... how old is "old" anyway? Is it 40? 50? 60? Or is it...
