Yorkton Man Sent to Jail for Drug Trafficking

A Yorkton man who admitted to Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, has been sentenced.
In Yorkton Provincial Court this (Wed) morning, 39-year-old Darwin Whitehawk was given 8-and-a-half months in jail, to be followed by one year of probation.
In October, Mounties were called to a disturbance in front of a business on Broadway Street, and arrested Whitehawk.
A subsequent search of a hotel room resulted in the seizure of about 7 grams of crack cocaine, and other items supporting drug trafficking.
