The Melville Millionaires gave up a late lead allowing 2 runs in the 7th inning as they fell 3-2 to the Weyburn Beavers at home to have their record drop to 3-4 on the season.
The Mils will try and get back in the win column on Thursday when they once again host the Beavers at Pirie Field with first pitch at 7:05.
Meanwhile in Regina,
The Regina Red Sox scored 5 runs in 3rd and 3 more in the sixth to pace them to a 8-2 victory over the visiting Yorkton Cardinals.
The loss drops the Cardinals’ record to 0-7 on the season and they’ll return to Jubilee Park tonight (Thurs) to host the Moose Jaw Miller Express.
