Saskatchewan’s Minimum Wage to Rise This Fall

Good news for minimum wage earners in Saskatchewan, as beginning October 1st, their hourly wage is going up.
The province announced today (FRI), that on that date, workers will make a minimum of $11.32 an hour, an increase of 26 cents from the current hourly wage.
That increase is calculated, using an indexation formula that the SaskParty government began using in 2011, which takes into account the previous year’s hourly wage, along with any changes to the Consumer Price Index.
