Fishing Lake First Nation Man to Stand Trial on Second Degree Murder Charge

A Preliminary Inquiry has wrapped up for a Fishing Lake First Nation man, arrested following a stabbing death in Dauphin.
29-year-old Reginald Morrisseau is charged with Second Degree Murder, and remains in custody after he was committed to stand trial in Dauphin Court of Queen’s Bench at a later date.
Last July, RCMP were called to a report of a stabbing at a home on the 100 block of 9th Street Southwest in Dauphin.
At the scene, they found a 32-year-old man dead, and subsequently arrested the accused.
