One of Two Men Arrested in Connection to Yorkton Weapons Seizure Sentenced to Jail Time, Firearm Ban

Guilty pleas have been entered by one of two men, arrested due to a weapons seizure in Yorkton.
On May 6th, the RCMP Crime Reduction Unit conducted a street check on two males, and seized two concealed knives, as well as a loaded sawed-off .22 calibre rifle.
27-year-old Kristopher McLellan was in Yorkton Provincial Court today (Wed), where he was sentenced to 243 days in jail, to be followed by a 10-year firearm ban.
An arrest warrant remains in effect for his co-accused, 28-year-old Dustin Venne.
