The former Chief Economist with the Conference Board of Canada says Saskatchewan is in a good position to face future economic challenges, but it won’t be easy.

Glen Hodgson says the financial pressure from weather-related problems for the agriculture industry are complicated further by international trade issues.
But he does credit  the provincial government for diversifying its economy, getting public spending under control, and making realistic financial forecasts in the budgeting process.
