Escaped Prisoner Caught in Yorkton

A Regina man has been sentenced to more jail time, after escaping lawful custody in Yorkton.
It happened at about 4:30 yesterday (Tue) afternoon, while 25-year-old Joey Tataquason was being transported from Prince Albert to Winnipeg.
Court was told Tataquason escaped from the vehicle he was in, while stopped at a red light.
Police eventually arrested him near the Yorkton Public Library.
In Yorkton Provincial Court this (Wed) morning, Tataquason was sentenced to an additional 3 months in jail, on top of the sentence he was already serving for robbery and carrying a concealed weapon.
