Swift Current’s mayor has reacted to the flooding situation in the southwest corner of Saskatchewan after heavy rain left water sitting in the streets. Denis Perrault says in about 2 hours, the city received two-to-three inches of heavy rain along with hail, which left some businesses inundated, and vehicles with water up to their bumpers. No one was injured, and Perrault says the city will have a better idea of the total damage sometime today.
