A 70-year-old Churchbridge man is dead, following the rollover of an all-terrain vehicle, in the R.M. of Riding Mountain West.

Just after 1:35 Friday (21st) afternoon, RCMP were called to the scene, approximately 35 kilometres northwest of Russell, where the victim was out with another man, checking for livestock on their property, when the steep terrain apparently caused the ATV he was on to flip.

The victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

His name has not been released.
