Russell RCMP have arrested a man, who’s accused of committing a series of crimes in that community this week.
39-year-old Michael Man of Brandon, faces numerous charges, and has been remanded in custody for a future court date.
Russell RCMP say they were called Monday afternoon, on a report of a 56-year-old man being assaulted, threatened, and having some of his belongings stolen.
While officers were on scene, the suspect returned, and began to hit the windows of the police vehicle in an attempt to break them.
The man resisted arrest, so Mounties had to use a taser to subdue him.
While being held in the Russell RCMP cell block, the suspect caused damage there as well.
