A man from the Cowessess First Nation has been appointed by the Government of Saskatchewan as a Provincial Court Judge in North Battleford.

Murray Pelletier received his law degree in 2007, and started his career with Legal Aid Saskatchewan, and also held a position with a private law firm.

Most recently, he worked with the Public Prosecution Service of Canada in the Saskatchewan region.
