A 35-year-old man and a 40-year-old man are in custody and charged with numerous child-pornography offences.

On June 24, the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit received information about two individuals accessing and sharing child porn, and discussing on a social media app sexually assaulting children.

After sharing their findings with Alberta’s ICE Unit, both conducted searches in Rocanville and Red Deer, respectively, on June 26, and seized several electronic devices and rescued two children in Saskatchewan and Alberta.

The 35-year-old man will appear in Regina Provincial Court tomorrow (Thurs), while his co-accused will be in Red Deer Provincial Court July 17.
