Suspect Wanted in Punnichy-Area Crime Spree Arrested and Charged

A man wanted in connection to a crime spree in the Punnichy area in May has been arrested and charged.
26-year-old Donnely Nanaquewetung is charged with 5 counts of attempted murder, and appeared in Regina Provincial Court today (Wed) where he was remanded for his next appearance on July 15.
On May 22nd, Mounties say a man was struck by a vehicle, then shot, on the Muskowekwan First Nation.
The next day, an altercation on the Piapot First Nation led to one victim allegedly being struck with a machete, and the other being chased to the Muscowpetung First Nation.
