Melville RCMP say repairs to a track following a train derailment 8 kilometres southeast of Kelliher near Highway 15 have been completed.

CN Police say “that some residual work remains to be completed over the coming day”.

Authorities also note drivers should expect heavy equipment traffic will be visiting the area frequently and should still be careful when travelling around the scene.

No one was hurt and the train was not carrying any dangerous goods when it jumped the tracks.
