Nights like this remind me of how much I love my job.  I have been at GX94 for 12 years, and have hosted GX94 Star Search for 7.  That’s actually not that long compared to Danny Ismond (he’s ancient).  But it has been long enough that I have many stories through the years of my adventures with GX94 and all of the people I have been able to meet and work with.  Like this amazing crew!  Danny Ismond and Quinn Rioch are gems and so much fun to work with (just please NO ONE tell them I said that).

These incredibly talented women all started with GX94!  Samara Yung our 2005 GX94 Star Search Champion, multiple time SCMA Award winner and with the Samara Yung band who has played for our GX94 Star Search Finals many years in a row now.  Our 2018 GX94 Star Search Champion Solange Simard, so talented, genuine and kind, I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her!  And our 2007 GX94 Star Search Champion Jess Moskaluke, Juno award winner, multiple CCMA award winner, multiple SCMA award winner and first female Canadian country artist since Shania Twain to go Platinum.

I felt pretty honored Saturday night to be apart of GX94 Star Search.  Thank you to all of our AMAZING GX94 listeners who came and stayed for the show!
