Court Appearance Made by One of Four People Charged in Punnichy-Area Crime Spree

One of four people charged, following a violent crime spree in the Punnichy area in May, has made another appearance in Regina Provincial Court.
On May 22nd, police say a man was struck by a vehicle, then shot, on the Muskowekwan First Nation.
Then, on May 23rd, an altercation on the Piapot First Nation led to one victim allegedly being struck with a machete, and the other being chased to the Muscowpetung First Nation.
26-year-old Derek Pasap faces a total of 20 charges stemming from the incidents, including one count of Attempted Murder, and he remains in custody, with his next appearance set for next Wednesday (17th).
