The Saskatchewanl government says the Crown sector had another strong year in 2018/19.

The CIC recorded net earnings of 540-million-dollars in it’s year end report, up  37-million dollars over last year.

Minister responsible Joe Hargrave says there was also an increase in dividends to the government by 25 percent, adding that money is needed else where before it can go to lowering rates from Crowns like SaskTel and SaskPower.

This is also the final annual report for STC after the companys dissolution on March 31, 2019.
