Sask.will Take Fire Evacuees From Ontario

The Saskatchewan government is offering to help house evacuees from wildfires in Ontario. At the Premiers meeting in Saskatoon, Ontario’s Doug Ford asked Saskatchewan’s Scott Moe to help house those forced from northern Ontario communities. Moe says our province will to house 2 thousand evacuees in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert. All this after the Chief of the Pikangikum First Nation said evacuation efforts had to be put on hold because there was nowhere for people to go.
