The Canadian Federation of Independent hopes the premiers follow through on a commitment to simplifying the movement of goods from province-to-province.
The group’s Marilyn Braun-Pollon says the Premiers appear to be unanimous about making actual free trade happen within Canadian borders and calls the move crucial to small business especially with recent impediments in key international markets like the United States and China.
Braun-Pollon also hopes the reduction of red tape extends beyond the sale and movement of products to include things like trade certification
