Dauphin Man Charged After Robbery Returns to Court

A Dauphin man arrested in connection with an armed robbery in that city has appeared in court again.

Shortly after 8 o’clock on the evening of June 24th, a lone male entered the Husky gas station on Main Street, carrying a long-barrelled gun, and demanded money.

Two employees were struck with the weapon, and the suspect took cash and cigarettes, before fleeing on foot.

18-year-old Michael Chartrand was in Dauphin Provincial Court yesterday (Tue), where he was remanded in custody for next Tuesday.
