The SGI traffic safety focus for June was distracted driving, and a lot of people were caught doing it.

The insurance company’s Scott McGregor says nearly 920 people were caught, with 800 for cell phone use, continuing a trend.

There were also more than 7 thousand tickets for speeding, nearly 370 for impaired driving and 590 for seatbelt infractions.
