Government of Saskatchewan Providing Funding for Women in Business

A new grant opportunity from the federal government is being offered to women-led or owned businesses in Canada.

Women Entrepreneurship Strategy is investing 2 billion dollars into businesses across the country with over 4 and a half million going to women entrepreneurs in Saskatchewan.

Prairie Bee Meadery from Moose Jaw was announced as one of the 11 recipients of grant money from the strategy.

Owner Crystal Milburn says this is a very exciting opportunity for women in the province.

The government has set a goal of doubling the number of women-owned businesses by 2025 from this strategy.
