Firearm-Related Crime in Yorkton Believed to Had Been an Isolated Incident: RCMP

RCMP believe Thursday’s firearm-related incident in Yorkton was isolated and there is no threat to public safety.
Mounties were called to the intersection of Duncan Street and Wellington Avenue around 6 p.m. and found a man with a gun shot wound and was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as about 5-foot 9, 174 pounds with a slender to medium build, and was wearing a black hoodie pulled up over his head, black shorts and a black bandana covering the lower part of his face.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Yorkton RCMP.
