New Court Dates For Two Men Charged After Several Robberies

Court appearances have been made by two men charged after numerous robberies on the Muscowpetung First Nation

25-year-old Jarrett Poitras, who is facing multiple charges, including Robbery with a Weapon and Disguise with Intent, was in Fort Qu’appelle Provincial Court yesterday (Thurs) and will return there next Thursday (8th).

On March 4th, RCMP says a convenience store on the Muscowpetung First Nation was robbed of money and tobacco products.

Then on July 23rd, the same store was robbed and home at Muscowpetung was broken into.

27-year-old Jere Pinacie, the co-accused in the March incident, is still wanted, while the co-accused in Tuesday’s crimes – 21-year-old Michael Obey – will be back in Regina Court August 8th.
