An Indigenous lead group looking to buy the Trans Mountain pipeline in Alberta and B.C is doing a listening tour in both provinces.

Project Reconciliation is looking for Indigenous and non-Indigenous partners to acquire 51 percent ownership of the Trans Mountain Pipeline and the expansion project through Alberta and British Columbia.

Founder and former Chief of Saskatchewan’s Thunderchild First Nation Delbert Wapass says the first stop was a gathering of 16-hundred elders from 205 First Nations in B.C.
