The Yorkton RCMP continue to search for a suspect in last week’s firearm incident.

On Thursday (Aug. 1) RCMP were called to the intersection of Duncan Street and Wellington Avenue around 6 p.m.

They found a man with a gunshot wound who was then taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as about 5-foot 9, 174 pounds with a slender to medium build, was wearing a black hoodie, black shorts and a black bandana covering the lower part of his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Yorkton RCMP.
