Harvest Operations Underway in Saskatchewan

Harvest operations have started in some isolated areas of the Saskatchewan grain belt.

Saskatchewan Agriculture crop specialist Cory Jacob says early maturing pulse crops and fall-planted cereals have been combined.

Jacob says most crops harvested so far are in the southwest part of the province.

Jacob expects harvest to be underway across the province in a couple of weeks.

He says some crops are still one to two weeks behind normal development.
