New Court Dates Set for Two Men Charged in Connection to Robberies on Muscowpetung First Nation

Two men charged after numerous robberies on the Muscowpetung First Nation, were back in court yesterday (THURS).
25-year-old Jarrett Poitras, of the Muscowpetung First Nation, who faces multiple charges, including Armed Robbery, was in Fort Qu’Appelle Provincial Court, and will return there next Thursday (15th).
Meanwhile, 21-year-old Michael Obey, of Regina, who is also charged with several offences, including Armed Robbery, appeared in Regina, and will be back in court there on Tuesday (13th).
A third suspect – 27-year-old Jere Pinacie, is still wanted by police.
On March 4th, RCMP say a convenience store on the reserve was robbed of money and tobacco products, and then on July 23rd, the same store was robbed, and a home on the reserve was broken into.
