One of Five People Charged in January Firearm Incident to Learn Judge’s Decision in Late-August

The trial has ended, for one of five people charged after a report of shots fired on the Keeseecoose First Nation, back in January.
The trial for Cole Cadotte wrapped up yesterday (THURS), in Kamsack Provincial Court, and the matter was adjourned to August 23rd, in Yorkton, when the judge’s decision will be rendered.
In April, 18-year-old Elijah Dustyhorn was sentenced to an additional 405 days in jail, while in May, 24-year-old Taylor Keshane was sentenced to an additional 61 days in jail, with both men receiving ten-year firearm bans.
Kamsack RCMP were called in the early morning hours of January 26th, on a report of people yelling outside a home, which eventually led to shots being fired.
