Today could be the day the Manitoba provincial election campaign kicks off. In June, premier Brian Pallister announced he was moving the date to September 10th, from October of next year. Under provincial law, there must be a minimum 28 day campaign, so to meet the September date, Pallister needs to meet the Lt. Governor tomorrow at the latest.
