Federal funding will flow to theatre and recreational projects the Saskatchewan government has said were in jeopardy. In promising the money, federal Federal Infrastructure Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne referenced 13 of the province’s infrastructure projects, but also noted that additional projects are expected to be approved and that formal announcements would follow. The Saskatchewan government had complained that Ottawa was dragging its feet on approval of almost 30 projects submitted for infrastructure money.
