Plenty of Feedback Given Regarding Education in Sask.

Nearly 9-thousand students, parents and community members took part in a recent survey to provide feedback about education in Saskatchewan.
Students who participated said hands-on learning and interactive activities can help them learn, along with quality teachers and staff with a comfortable, quiet learning environment.
They also said it’s important to have a variety of program options so they work toward future goals.
Parents and community members said quality teachers and access to supports, including educational assistants, are things needed to support the well being and learning of students.
In addition, they said it’s important to have updated curriculum and classroom supports.
The online survey was open from April 8 to May 10.
This feedback will be used to develop a new education plan, outlining key areas of focus, over the next 10 years.
