Piapot First Nation Woman Returns To Court After Fatal Collsion

A Piapot First Nation woman has made another court appearance, in connection with a fatal collision on the reserve over the weekend.

Southey RCMP were called to a home on the reserve on Saturday afternoon, where a woman at the scene acknowledged that she had hit the victim with her vehicle, in the lane way.

The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Nolan Sugar, who was pronounced dead, at a Regina hospital.

43-year-old Leah Pratt was granted bail yesterday (WED), in Regina Provincial Court, where she will return on September 16th, charged with Dangerous Driving Causing Death and Criminal Negligence Causing Death.
