SaskEnergy will be conducting a controlled natural gas flare at its Melville Compressor Station today (Thu), as part of its routine maintenance.
It’s located northeast of Melville, just off Highway 47.
Residents and drivers in the area may see a 20-foot flare being emitted from a 60-foot flare stack temporarily attached to the gas line system within the station yard.
The flare will take place between 8 and 11 o’clock this (Thu) morning.
