Anthrax Reported in Southeast Saskatchewan

A correction has been issued by the Saskatchewan government in regards to yesterday’s (Thu) news that 7 animals suddenly died as a result of anthrax.

The province originally reported that the deaths occurred in the R.M. of Golden West, although now it’s said that the deaths were in the R.M. of Chester.

Both rural municipalities are adjacent to one another and are located southeast of Regina.

The last time there was an animal anthrax case in Saskatchewan was in 2015.
