Manitoba RCMP have identified human remains found near the University College of the North on August 6 as Kendara Ballantyne.

The 18-year-old from The Pas was reported missing on July 26, after having been last seen in the community on July 18.

The cause of death has yet to be determined, and the investigation remains ongoing.
