To coincide with suicide prevention awareness month, a new app has been developed to help prevent suicide. Suicide Intervention Necessity Guidance, or S.I.N.G., is able to determine whether or not patients who have the app are suicidal, and calls a doctor within seconds if that determination is made. CEO and Chairman Todd Dube says the app asks the patient questions and determines whether or not patients are depressed or suicidal.
