6 thousand dollars was raised for childhood cancer awareness and research this past weekend by “Silver for Gold”.
Spokesman Dallon Leger says about 2 thousand dollars came from recycling the tabs from soft drink cans.
He says there are collection points in Yorkton, including DR Auto Extras and Brayden Ottenbreit Close Cuts for Cancer.
